The Oregon Department of Revenue administers Oregon tax laws and collects taxes for more than 30 programs:
PERSONAL TAX PROGRAM
We achieve our business through enforcement, education, and providing excellent services to taxpayers.
BUSINESS TAX PROGRAM
We make Business Division Programs work for our customers through research, education, assistance, and enforcement.
PROPERTY TAX PROGRAM
Our mission is to ensure local government finance systems work effectively to fund public services.
TIMBER TAX PROGRAM
Our mission is to administer the timber tax laws effectively and efficiently.
TOBACCO TAX PROGRAM
Work with retailers and distributors of cigarettes and other tobacco products to educate and collect appropriate taxes on the sale of tobacco products in Oregon.
OTHER AGENCY ACCOUNTS
We strive to achieve maximum recovery of debts owed to the State of Oregon while providing quality customer service.
DEFERRAL PROGRAMS
Our mission is to provide property tax deferral for qualified citizens and to work in a courteous and respectful manner to help them understand the property tax deferral programs.
