The Department of Revenue has the responsibility for the appraisal and valuation of all industrial properties in the state of Oregon which have an improvement value of more than $1,000,000. This currently includes 885 sites with a market value of more than $15 billion. The industrial groups include, but are not limited to, electronic/high tech, wood/paper, food processing, primary and secondary metals, chemical, plastics, and printing. | Taxpayer Training for Industrial Property Returns |

Four training sessions have been scheduled to help you understand the Industrial Property Return (IPR). The training sessions will cover the form and how to properly report changes. In addition, there will be a "meet and greet" following the training so you can talk to your assigned appraiser personally. Registration is required and seating is limited, so register early to ensure your spot in the class. The registration deadline is January 8, 2010. The classes will be held at the Department of Revenue, 955 Center Street NE, Salem, OR, 97301. The class dates are as follows:
